Taranuum

Taranuum is a seven years old girl. She stays with her parents and younger brother at Mohidunpur a poor semi urban village of Kishanganj town. Her father owns a small teashop in the area. Due to financial constraints he was unable to send Taranuum to school.

When Azad India Foundation started its nonformal education centre, she started attending classes regularly. Her keen interest in studies led AIF arranging sponsor for her so that she can continue with her education.

Thanks to generous support by Mr Subha Chakarborty Taranuum has been enrolled in regular school in class KG. She is a promising student who loves to draw and paint.
